Video Playback from External Hard Drive via Philips Blu Ray player
I updated the firmware on my Philips BDP3000 yesterday to now support USB play back, I tried it yesterday with my friends western digital hard drive and it worked fine, today I have been out and bought my own and NOTHING. When I connect the external HD my Blu Ray player freezes and won't do a thing, soon as I disconnect the USB cable the play springs back in to life.
What am I doing wrong? Please Help. |

Check to see what drive format the Phillips can read. ie. NTFS or FAT32.
