Ah, thank you.

You could have just said something like ''MidWeeks!'' or something.

It really all depends on what retailers have reported and the numbers shown now can change massively (or for some artists not all). For instance, if one artist heavily relies on downloads and none of the download sites have reported yet etc. I remember Adele's first week at the same stage as this it was showing as 80,000 sales but she went onto sell 352,000 when all the retailers had reported (and, no, that won't happen this time, lol)

That's one hell of a drop for Britney.

I really don't want to be a Britney hater but sometimes it does seem like she's just all hype these days, and that massive second week drop-off seems to indicate I'm right. I'm sure many will disagree but that's just my opinion.

With the two singles that she has in the charts and done a bit of promo and she still drops like that. Adele, just one single and no promo still outsells her with an album that's been out for weeks.

Exactly. I know Adele has a fair amount of hype supporting her too but she's getting consistent success and praise to go with it. Britney's middling about a bit and it seems that her established and dedicated fanbase are the only people buying.

Alrite sales for Brit. Could maintain for a bit, after that it depends on promo and singles.

If she does not do any promo then expect sales to drop, her name no longer sells to the non-fanbase.

A 6% drop after 7 (?) weeks for Adele is extraordinary. And don't forget she's touring the US in May/June and seems to have left plenty of free time for TV/radio promo. '21' is a blockbuster sales-wise. Rare happenings, blockbusters.

Don't forget Glee. That'll give it an uber-surge.
