All stored programmes lost on Humax 9200T
As I reported in an earlier post, the clock had failed while in standby, leaving just a series of _ _ _ _ _ plus a small clockface symbol. Yesterday, the fault seemed to have rectified itself, because the time was once again showing while in standby, and it was still there when I switched on at 7am this morning. I played back a recorded programme before switching off for a few hours. When I switched back on this afternoon to select a film to watch from the large selection of programmes I have stored over the last several months, I was dismayed to find the Recorded Programmes list empty. Every one of the programmes I had stored, going back over several months were apparently wiped clean. I don't know if they are retrievable or not, Does anyone have any suggestions, please.

You won't have been the first....Have a look/post here
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/f...play.php?f=119 If you don't record any thing else you may be able to recover most of what you've lost, though it will require some effort on your part.

Please remember to tell this story to those who recommend long term storage on hard drives over blank dvd's.
At least if a blank fails you only lose one programme |
