Just over 22 years ago - April 1989 - Madonna caused outrage with her Like A Prayer video, which the Vatican called blasphemous and she lost her contract as a Pepsi spokesperson.

I remember, Pepsi were up in arms, I couldnt understand the fuss to be honest its a great video.

the advertisement was fantastic, such an era i mean seriously, you cannot compare the hysteria around that era to anything in music right now!

In fact i loved the advertisement as much as the official video for Like A Prayer! just such a defining era for music!
