Spoiler
It's the pirate episode isnt it, would it not be the siren (Lily Cole) as she appears quite green in the trailers.

Spoiler
Zygons are orange but the light in their ship made them look green so yeah it's probably Lily Cole as a green meremaid thing

Just wishful thinking on your part. Wish it was them though

...and Zygons were orange when in their natural form. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw them sometime in the near future.

Me too. That poor girl went through so much. Mind you, so did lovely 8th Doctor. Still, bad times.

She went through so much, but she remained her lovely funny self throughout!

I believe bad things happen to her in the latest Big Finish stuff. I hope it's on radio at some point.

Me too. I'm really enjoying the 8th Doc and Lucy on iPlayer at the moment...

That and Torchwood (and Terry Pratchett) keep me going at work!

I don't. Or if it is then I hope I am not near a radio. Not sure I could listen to it again so soon! Too much!

Look, without wanting to appear ratty, thoughts and speculation are not spoilers. They don't need spoilering.

No offence but how did you get to it being a tear-jerker just from it having a "green thing" in it?

Is that a recommendation?

Anyway back to the topic. Maybe it's a Rutan or something? Actually, dunno why but I think it's probably something completely new.

I think the reference was to my post about Lucie Miller's sad times with Zygons, not to the green thing in the new series. Which might still be a tear-jerker as well, of course, for all we know.

Oh right sorry, I didn't know the latest play was about them, I thought it was about Daleks or something. Oops. *resists temptation to make a comment about whether I'd probably enjoy listening to Eight get broken*

Which reminds me, I bet someone moans about my new profile picture!

Hiya Sophie, as Granny says I was picking up on her Big Finish 'The Zygon who fell to Earth' reference rather than the green thing.

Have a look -

Actually, yeah, its bloody amazing stuff. Just so much darker than anything the tv series would do. At least with the central characters. When I say 'would' I really mean 'can' as I know that those types of stories would upset kids. But it was great.
