Nerina's back with a new track. Great uplifting pop number with the cutest video. I like it . Loved Nerina since 'Fires'... 'Idaho' should have been released as a single from that album damn it.

Anyway, enjoy .

Like the song - not her best, but it was probably a case of picking the most radio friendly of the bunch to give the charts a go.

She had so many potential crossover tracks on The Graduate, it's a shame it didn't go her way. Especially considering she walks over some of the 'indie pop' success stories last year.

Video's a bit clunky, but the continuous shot style is hard to pull off even with huge productions...and she'll have had to do it on next to nothing.

Really looking forward to hearing the new material. She never disappoints.

I like the song. It's nothing groundbreaking but it's solid, radio friendly and should hopefully do well.

The fact that the Sun are covering Nerina is a bit weird ... didn't really think she was the kinda thing they went for, maybe its a good omen that Nerina is coming to the masses once more?

Fab, loved her since Patience - PYHU might've ended up on Kylie's album but she already had a song called that on the record....anyway LOVE Nerina's version suits her and is very catchy. Hope she makes a return to the top 40

Adore the song, but the video could have been better. What is it with British popstars outsourcing dance moves to everyone else but themselves?

i love the song and if anyone deserves success it's Nerina. Just not sure about the production....full on pop would have suited it better

Great track! Nerina's such an under-rated artist. Hopefully people will finally open their ears!

Aww I like Nerina Pallot. Her voice is beautiful and so is she. Sophia is one of my favourite songs, especially the stripped down version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtigLYSeIXc

I find this song a bit generic though, but maybe it's a grower. Hope it gets some airplay.

Just bought it.

It's grown on me so much. Very catchy.

Can't wait for the album. Born This Way and Wolf will be competing for my affection that week.

I have a feeling Nerina will be the comforting come down after the storm of Gaga.

Was just browsing some previous work of Nerina's on youtube and though to myself I wonder if she's got anything new coming out. Deligted to find she has, love this track, a wonderful summery vibe

loving it but once again....it looks doomed not to reach the top 40.......i reckon i could do a better job promoting this song on the radio!!! I dont understand why a large label like Geffen wouldnt be doing more....am I missing something???!

Oh I didn't like this at first, I only listened to the first verse and chorus. I gave it a second chance a couple of days ago and I can't stop playing it! Shows how wrong I was

I agree it doesn't look like it's gonna chart well, but I'm still looking forward to Nerina's album

I don't think anyone (her, label, charts) is under the impression that Nerina will break through with this album, and are therefore treating it accordingly.

She isn't a quirky/sexy twenteen year old, or from the Brit school or a competition show. Her music is mature and melodic Britpop. It requires a level of taste that the general public seem to chronically lack unless they're told to like (Adele).

It's a shame, but the harsh reality I think.

What might sway it is her newfound notoriety as a songwriter for Kylie/Diana Vickers (and to a lesser extent Joe McElderry), and the fact that the UK looks for summery Britpop at this time of year.

It's all a question of whether R1 give her the time of day, I guess.

Thats just it...Radio 1 are not giving her the time.....ridiculous. I want to start a one woman campaign on her behalf!!!!
