Android deletes old text messages?
Does Android have a limit on how many text messages it saves per user? Reason I ask is that I've noticed that the text counter for a few people who I text a lot never seems to go above 202. Does it delete older texts?
A bit annoying as the other day I was looking for a text with an address in it and it was deleted. Using a Nexus S and Handcent app. But the default messaging app does the same. |

You can set the text message limit. With the default message app it's in the settings. I checked mine and can go way above the 202 yours seems to be set at. This is on a HTC Desire though I would think the limit will be in the app rather than the phone itself.

Thanks Caveman, seen the setting and changed it to 999.
