Which version do you think was better the original with Keisha?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=seQ9pXvsYlA

or the single version we all know and love with Jade?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WV148zhtJgk

I love both and cant choose though overall I prefer Jade's voice over Keisha's.

I prefer Jade to Keisha, but the Keisha version is much better.

The Keisha version has a lot of the RedOne effect vocals on Heidi and Amelle and their vocals were un-redonefied for the album version so that their vocals didn't sound too different to Jade's. And Keisha's version just has a lot more fire and aggression in it for me!!

I love this song. No idea why it flopped. It should have been a number 1.

I agree Keisha's version definetly had an edge to it that Jade's version lacks however I just love how Jade overpowers the chorus with her beautiful strong vocals.

Is it the one that goes "you don't know about a girl?" or something like that. I have the tune in my mind but can't listen because everyone is sleeping and don't have headphones avec moi.

LOVE IT, Sweet 7 is the only album of theirs i bought (well Taller In More Ways also!) in a looooong time because of this song....why wasnt it bigger???? possibly the medias negativity behind the album aaaaaah!!!!

nevermind. could have had potential but chuffed they have disbanded that idea and recording something more eprsonal to their styles.

I like both versions, probably Kiesha a little more.

I bought two of their albums, 'Taller In More Ways' (which I think is really good) and 'Change'. Liked Change but I never really played it much. Haven't bought an album since though.

Definitely prefer Jade's version, although the Keisha version isn't bad by any means.

You do have to wonder where this would have charted without the negative publicity of Keisha leaving. I think it'd have outperformed Get Sexy, no doubts. Could have been the song that properly brought them back into the fold.

Keisha's version is better..she attacks it more and like others have already mentioned, she gives it more of an edge.

keisha was the sugarbabes. it is pointless carrying on now. the whole thing is kind of silly. there were no winners just losers. none of them have careers now!

the whole album was awful and it would have flopped anyway. the 2nd and 3th albums were the best by far.

They need a stonker of a comeback tune, something that will blow away About You Now & Push the Button

They are well capable of doing it though, Keisha was not the be all and end all of the Sugababes no matter what her die hards choose to believe.

It's more like album number 2 really. They may have the Sugababes' name, but they aint the Sugababes

i`m no huge fan of keisha. i can see that every member past and present are merely employees of the management company.

however she was the last remaining original member until she was sacked by the management company. so it is natural people would see her as an important contribution to the group.

why start a thread encouraging peoples opinions, when you don't like what people have to say regarding the state or the group? or which version they like best?

simple, you stated the thread. then people have posted their views. to which you reply `Keisha was not the be all and end all of the Sugababes no matter what her die hards choose to believe.`

that was my point.

What relevance does have to do with which version of About a Girl people prefer? I like the Keisha and Jade versions but dont think Keisha getting fired was the end of the Sugababes. My point was the band can definetly make a successful comeback with a good song despite Keisha not being part of it.

The fact they had two top 10 hits without her already proves it can be done. Now all they need to do is get better sales to go with it

no, what they need is better songs. the reason they had 2 top ten hits is that they were ok songs. if the songs were stronger, the hits would have been bigger.

the whole sugarbabes situation has highlighted how disposable these members are. i have nothing against the current line up. however it is worst line up so far.
