The complete lineup of this year's Glastonbury music festival has been announced. The event, which is due to take place between June 24 and June 26, will be headlined by U2, Coldplay and Beyoncé.

One of the worst Pyramid Stage lineups I've seen for years.

The other stages are always better, but this year there's no-one there that I'd pay to see that I'm not already seeing at other festivals this year (ones with far superior lineups)

I saw the Wu Tang Clan at the Hammersmith Apollo back in 2005, cracking atmosphere and very old school. I'm not sure what they're like at big gigs.

U2, Beyonce and Coldplay are soooo mainstream. Hardly edgy stuff, is it?

There's absolutely no one I'd get excited to see in that list.

Pendulum followed by Beyonce is strange. Two completely different crowds there.

Looking at the festival line up as a whole its damm good. There are more acts I would want to see than I could possibly fit in.

The Pyramid stage line up is genuinely awful though. I don't think there are 2 or 3 acts on the pyramid stage over the whole weekend that I'd actually want to see. Headliners seem .... odd. I physically couldn't cope with watching u2 AND coldplay. Its like over blown ego, pretentious, over-rated band hell. Beyonce is either a brilliant choice or a terrible choice, I'm honestly not sure.

The only acts worth getting excited over are Chemical Brothers and Friendly Fires IMO. *Maybe* even U2. But Coldplay and Beyonce... just no.

It's the best major line up in the UK this year, one of the best Glasto's in years.

Arguably beats Bestival, simply for it's size. Bestival has a great line-up, but Glasto simply has more.

Probably loses out to Primavera.

Incredible line-up though, only thing missing is Stevie Nicks, already planned out my days though.

Other than Morrissey, B.B. King and Primal Scream, there's nothing else there to even slightly interest me.

I would happily see:

Morrissey, Biffy Clyro, B.B. King, Laura Marling, Primal Scream, Bright Eyes, The Vaccines, The Kills, Jimmy Eat World, Queens of the Stone Age,TV on the Radio, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Noisettes, Chase and Status, Kool & The Gang, The Go! Team, DJ Shadow, I Am Kloot, Darwin Deez, Cage the Elephant,Glasvegas, Noah and the Whale, The Horrors, Warpaint, Yuck,The Streets, Robyn, Hurts, Everything Everything, OK Go, The Joy Formidable, Crystal Castles, James Blake, Tame Impala, Graham Coxon, Deacon Blue, Imelda May, Katy B, Fenech-Soler, Devlin, Skepta, Giggs, Annie Mac, Erol Alkan, Jamie xx, Pulled Apart By Horses, Subfocus & ID, DJ Fresh, Caspa ft. Rod Azian, Skream and Benga, Joker, Metronomy, dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip

So Yeh, If I could go, i'd have an amazing time. I do wonder about the pyramid stage though. Mental.

Moz and Primal Scream are good additions.
The headliners are abysmal though.

I wish I could go see Beyoncé! I'm sure she'll put on an impressive show.

She probably will because she is a great performer (I say this despite me not liking her music).

However, as a whole the line up - especially the Pyramid stage one - seems odd. Like I said, Pendulum followed by Beyoncé?! An alternative dance act followed by an R&B act? That's weird.

Also, Coldplay headlining?

Perhaps NME chose the line up this year

There seems to be the belief, that there's only the Pyramid to go and see. On Sunday, i'm well and truely f*cked, because I simply currently cannot choose between Beyonce, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Streets and Kool And The Gang.

Why would NME have chosen the line-up? The Glasto line-up isn't made by Pyramid headliners, there's 85 other stages.

Obviously, but the Pyramid stage is the most known and most talked about.

It seems most people go to Glastonbury for being Glastonbury anyway.

And I wasn't serious about NME choosing the line up, but they have a weird habit of being pretentiously "indie" then sticking a Rihanna or Beyoncé article in their mag.

U2 and Coldplay. The most bland, unchallenging, granny friendly rock bands in the world. Why am I not surprised.

Also, Biffy Clyro billed above B.B. King?

as long as I get to see Tame Impala and Wu Tang Clan I'll be happy.. maybe sneak in a bit of Beyonce

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed when seeing the line up at first, after how good it was last year, but after giving it some more thought; in hindsight I think it's the Pyramid Stage that was a little bit of a let down, but I think it's going to be brilliant. And I agree that Glastonbury isn't only about the music, it's about everything else that comes with it. Friendly Fires, Bombay Bicycle Club, Crystal Castles, Chemical Brothers and Morrissey will make my weekend though

Probably?! Definitely!

Primavera has one of the best lineups I've ever seen! This is average at best.

Looks good eh!

Hilariously though, If I went, i'd be going all that way and three of the bands i'd be most excited about would be

Belle and Sebastien
Mogwai
And BMX Bandits.

I live in Glasgow, so it would seem crazy

Hmm, you have to take into consideration, that Prima has 4 stages, where has Glastonbury has 86. Taking into consideration music, at Prima, if you don't find something you like, then you're done. Where as at Glasto, i'd say it's near a definite possibility, there will be something on one of the stages, you'll like, at every moment.

It's the value for money thing, which helps Glasto immensely. Prima is £160, but i'd expect more from it, considering Glasto is only a bit more expensive.

I guess I'm just holding it to Glasto's high standards. As i've said before, on face value, band vs band, the Prima line-up probably edges it out slightly.

Glastonbury has, hands down, the best line-up of any festival anywhere in the world year-on-year.

Even if you're not a fan of the main stage headliners, there are the best of the best representing every genre, across loads of stages!

Who cares about The Pyramid stage - I have not missed a single Glastonbury since 1979 and with Melanie - Robyn Hitchcock and Suzanne Vega to see I am not bothered who else is on.

Will catch Sean Taylor who is a mate of mine and I believe he will be playing a few nights at Glastonbury.

Not sure who Beyonce is and I will be busy in the Acoustic area so will not worry about missing that act.

I have a crew pass and will be setting up camp on Tuesday afternoon so will take it as it comes.

Last year the only act that I went out my way to see was Rodriguez Y Gabriella who were Fantastic and they played in the West Holts stage but I missed them at Latitude due to someone going ill and I had to change my shift. { just one of those things }
