Good Revision Songs...

I was listening to Limp Bizkit, Strokes, White Lies....It helped me through my Medical Law revision.

Now, listening to a bit of Bob Marley "Three Little Birds" and "all night long" by Lionel Richie and "kung Fu fighting" by Cee Lo Green- helps with Residence Care Orders for Family.

Any other suggestions of songs for revision?

I used to listen to either Clubland or Country, both seemed to work.

Sometimes I'd get really into an album before revision time so I'd mix it up a little bit like 4th year at school Avril Lavigne's Under My Skin or 3rd Year Uni Lily Allens It's Not Me It's You/Kelly Clarkson All I Ever Wanted, but mainly it was just Country and Clubland.

I found Clubland good when I felt I had to study quicker, the speed of the songs made it feel like time was moving quicker, so I was running out of time so I'd concentrate more and get through things quicker, plus I found it good to stop me being distracted by things around me, even fairly quiet it can drown out exterior sounds.

Country I liked for its steadier speed and was good for when I was reading through things that I'd already been through, more relaxed and let me take my time and actually read things.

I will listen to few country and from clubland. I just need to sit and down and concentrate. I am getting easily distracted at the moment lool.
Mostly I need something upbeat- who would think someone would write something depressing in a textbook?

I feel your pain. I am currently revising for a health care law and ethics exam.

Although, the pain is nothing compared to tax law. It is horrible,

I can't listen to anything with lyrics, as I focus on them rather than what i'm reading, so recently i've been listening to things like Justice, and the first pendulum record.

So far, it has kept me sane-ish.

Medical Law and Ethics- It seems everyone has some sort of health problems. They are never satisfied. What topics are you studying for the medical exam?
I am doing abortion, disability and negligence & IVF and Cloning. Still need 2 more topics.

Tax Law- I feel your pain. I am doing succession in a bit. Dead people can never get their wills right.

I was listening to Pendulum in the morning whilst looking at equity and trusts. Still don't understand it.

Don't play anything by your favourite artists because you'll just pay too much attention to it.

Play something you find pleasant to listen to but not to the point where you want to actively listen to it. The kind of music that would work as background noise for you.

Yip, Similar plan here, I think I'll be looking at consent and capacity, IVF and surrogacy perhaps gvt no fault liability schemes (plenty of Delict/tort so less new stuff to learn ).

Its the last exam though, tax is the real worry, thats on monday, so far I only properly understand VAT.

I don't remember succession being too bad, although I was in a right panic about it. In the end I messed up the will calculation but still got a decent pass, so don't stress too much about it!

Good luck with medical and tax. You will get there.
I am stressing at the moment as I had the worst dream a few weeks ago about my grades which is still playing on my mind even though I been getting firsts or 2:1so far.
I am doing notes, past exam papers, seminars and emailing lecturers. No one is replying to me. I don't understand anything. My last exam is family law.
I like succession, I can get my head around it. I am still worried about it. In a weird way, I just want to hug my succession lecturer if I did well.

I need to pray as well. It is my final year and a lot is riding on it. Is it your final year?

Good luck with exams.

Ellie Goulding - Lights
Jamie T - Kings & Queens
Eliza Doolittle - Eliza Doolittle
Diana Vickers - Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree

Those are the four albums I always seem to put on when I'm revising.

Lights by Ellie Goulding is by far my favourite revision album though. It seems to motivate me really well, I've no idea why though!
