When Mr. "Hassel The Hoff" is actually a better judge than someone... you know that someone has to be pretty bad.

He has not said anything remotely interesting or funny.

I think he is at a loss of what to do or say.

I never liked him before BGT, but after watching the first 2 shows I can see why people think he's funny. Still won't watch his comedy act, the shouting is not for me. He's growing on me.

I never liked BGT, I just flipped past the show with him in it and he makes it bearable.

I never found his 'comedy' act funny. But on BGT he is bearable.

BGT is the only 'talent' show I watch, because the acts are so different from each other, so MM must be doing something right.

I found him a bit more tolerable last night due to the fact he seemed to be taking things a bit more seriously and wasn't dicking about so much. I have to say though my wife bought me his biography on audio book last Christmas and it's one of the most interesting books i've listened to in ages. You wouldn't believe what he's done to get where he is and how hard he's worked and I can't listen to the Countdown theme again without thinking about the fact his dad composed that tune.

The Hoff as much as I like the bloke just looked like a fish out of water. Not being able to understand half what people were saying and how the hell can you judge an impressionist act when you haven't a clue who they are doing or what they're talking about?

Saying that I used to work in a call centre and I could never understand Glaswegens at the best of times, worst of all on a Friday afternoon when they'd been down the boozer all lunchtime. You need subtitles with half of em.

I didn't realise he was so widely disliked.
He made the panel for me, don't like Amanda much, Hoff doesn't understand half the acts.
I think Mcintyre's a great choice to judge

Each to their own I suppose

Its teh same with all stand up comics though...they have scripts (mostly jokes written by a team of writers) that they read out to you...and it is funny. In real life they are top class bores. Thier talent is in nstanding there and comic timing.

A classic example is Vic Reeves and Stephen Fry. In unscripted TV appearances they are boring as hell.”

Are you SERIOUSLY suggesting that Stephen Fry is 'scripted' by other people???!!!! Really, I mean, REALLY?! !!!

Moving on from that insanity, I have to say I'm loving this years BGT. I thought it would be rubbish without Simon Cowell, but I'm finding it really enjoyable and pretty hilarious much of the time, mainly due to the contributions of the (unscripted) Michael McIntyre and Hoff.
