What a synical bunch you are. I am willing to bet these claims of Nadia being a 'fake' cry and all the rest of it are last ditch attempts to try and harm her chances of winning.

I thought it was a genuine emotional moment and I thought it was an amazing example of what a truly life changing experience Big Brother can be for some of it's contestants. The feelings of acceptance Nadia must be feeling after a lifetime of rejection and ridicule must be mind blowing for her. I'm sure that in her situation, most people would be emotional.

Plus, it didn't ruin the party at all. She apologised, and soon went off to compose herself alone without making a fuss. She came back and it was like it never happened. If this is the best you've got to go against Nadia, then you better try a little harder.

How can it be double standards, the two are in TOTALLY different situations. This sign of acceptance means more to Nadia than any housemate past or present, and more than most of us can even imagine.

Y'all are sooooooo synical, why can't people accept Nadia's sign of emotion was genuine. If it were fake it would be obvious, and if Shell had behaved in a simmilar way it would be obviously fake most likely b.c that's the way she has been most of the time in the house IMO.

I am not cynical. I actually thought her tears were genuine and felt for the girl!

What I am saying if Shell had started to be emotional everyone would have said she was attention seeking. Sure she hasn't had a op to change her gender but she wants to be accepted for who she is as much as everyone else.

So why should she get the sympathy vote because of it. michelle had personal problems with her weight which may have been the reason she acted the way she did with stuart as she probably has been insecure for a long time becuase of her weight.

yes nadia has gone through something that many would not go through but that does make her acceptance any different to anyone else it just because of it. jason being accepted could mean just as much to him as it does to nadia so she should not be singled out for special treatment because of it.

Who sad anything about voting for Nadia based on sympathy? Certainly not me. I was just trying to explain why Nadia might have been crying on Wednesday night, and trying to defend her again [imo] false claims of her tears being fake.

I have voted for Nadia because she has made me laugh, entertained me, generally been a cracking housemate trhoughout this year. I also feel she is most worthy of this year's title as winner. I just want to see her win, I like her alot. It's not something anyone has to explain, why they like someone, you just do or you don't. I get a great vibe from her I and want her to win.

No sympathy voting here, although I am not suggesting it's not going on. But then again, why people vote for whoever they vote for is there decision. Who is to say one reason is any more valid than another. Now that's stupid.

Sometimes in life you just have to take a big risk. Nadia did that by coming on BB. You have to admire her courage!

good post - the one thing you forgot, was that when they found our Stu was evicted she said very quietly "we didn't get to say goodbye" and that was when her mood and face dropped

clearly she feels genuinley fond of young Stu and it upset her that they didn't get to send him off properly

That was the point I was trying to make. Everyone wants to be accepted for very different reasons. Just because she had a sex change does not make her reason for acceptance any more or any less valid. She could be playing up to the cameras, I don't think so personally. But let's be honest, if Shell cried in that situation there would be uproar, very biased imo. I genuinly believe she wasn't playing up to the cameras. By going to the toilet to cry would make no difference as there is a camera in there.
