To be fair, most 53 year olds look more like the contestant, with thinning grey hair and a few wrinkles. Most middle aged blokes don't do hair dye and botox.

He did look a lot older than 53. I'm still shocked at how old Susan Boyle is considering how she looks, especially when I first saw her before I knew she had such an amazing voice.

I agree and I also thought Mary looked way way older than 45, although it came up she was 44. She looked at least 55.

I know a lot of 53 year olds and none of them look as old as him. Even my 74 year old dad looks younger!

My dad is 56 and looks mid 40's I'd say. He was shocked when he saw the guy on BGT was 53!!
