No, it's not like that at all.

There would be another football match next week. It's not the end of football for ever. (Unfortunately).

I wouldn't want DW to end forever just because of some remark made a long time ago.

Or they could just make the 13th doctor's last story to do with trying to extend his life (like the did with The Master trying to steal 'lives' from other Time Lords). Good gripping story that allows for a new beginning and dramatic climax.

I wasn't keen when I saw them the first time around (my initial reaction was "oh look spice girl daleks") but up close and personal they're bigger than expected and very scary
