Well I can't speak for the other social networking sites as I don't use them but The Hotel Inspector is the most discussed non-soap/reality show here on Digital Spy this evening. For reference ahead of tomorrow's overnights, here's a look at the overnight audiences for each series opener to date:
Series 1 (September 2005): 1.3m (6%)
Series 2 (July 2006): 1.4m (7%)
Series 3 (September 2007): 1.3m (6%)
Series 4 (July 2008): 1.2m (6%) <--- this one was preceded by a series of "revisited" episodes, bad idea
Series 5 (July 2009): 1.6m (7%)
Series 6 (July 2010): 1.8m (8%)
Notably this is the first series to launch outside of July and September, which is interesting. Personally I think it has a good chance of topping last year's launch to become the most watched ever, especially with BBC One's feeble 9pm offering.
