'Whats Happening At The Moment?' Day 71 06/08/04 Midnight - 6am

The last midnight WHATM for this year.

Quote:
"Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits, and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve, And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on; and our little life Is rounded with a sleep."
~ William Shakespeare (1564-1616)
English poet, the greatest poet ever
from Tempest, Act iv. Sc. 1
Quote:
"Obviously, where art has it over life is in the matter of editing. Life can be seen to suffer from a drastic lack of editing. It stops too quick, or else it goes on too long. Worse, its pacing is erratic. Some chapters are little more than a few sentences in length, while others stretch into volumes. Life, for all its raw talent, has little sense of structure. It creates amazing textures, but it can't be counted on for snappy beginnings or good endings either. Indeed, in many cases no ending is provided at all."
~ Larry Mcmurtry
Thanks to everyone who has kept us updated, it wouldnt have been half the fun with out them.

lovely opening mrfreeze

first one took me back to my 1st year at high school - when I didn't appreciate Bill the Quill at all. It's a totally different matter now

and the 2nd I'd never heard before - but it's lovely

It's going to be a sad time this time tommorow night when the final WHATM thread expires.

These threads are the thing I will miss most about BB5, the house coverage at this time turned dull weeks ago.

Nadia asks Dan to tell her about Sheena Easton. The sound dips so perhaps he's telling her about her affair with Prince. Or just how crap she was.

Idle celeb chat - All Saints, Boy George, Studio 54, Hull nightclubs where they let in 'orange-faced mingers with corned beef legs'.
'I'm so excited,' says Shell, yawning.
Dan sings In The Navy.
