Shell is a mimic too. Kate got the main divide storyline though and shone in it after Alex dumped her on the poor side and Kate did zannier things like dress yp as alex and do monologues as Lynne. kate had the other advantage that she essentially was regarded as one of us by many of the female fans and there was a 14 year old lurking in the 22 year old that appealed to the teens and pre-teens. Kate was a very tough act to follow.

On the other hand Shell doesn't have the same opposition so you wonder what she could have done with the divide storyline or what viewers would have made of nadia making a complete Fed of more challenging tasks?

Shell's voice really works against her though. There's a whiney quality to it that makes her sound complaining.
