Buy a new iPod or get a 16gb memory card for my Desire..?
Yesterday I went to put new songs onto my 8gb iPod, only for iTunes to tell me that it is full.
I've had my Desire for 4-5 months now and I really do like it. But I do not have any music on it as I think it'd be too much hassle to sync up. I currently have a 4gb memory card in there, which came with the phone. I've just looked on eBay and I can get a 16gb one for £20ish. But I'm worried that it will be a total pain to transfer all my songs onto the phone, and I quite like the iTunes/iPod interface. So do I get a 16gb memory card for my phone and put all my music on there, or do I splash out on a new iPod. And also, how easy is it to transfer and sync my Desire with the iTunes on my laptop. |

There are a number of apps in the market that purport to sync with iTunes. I can't vouch for any of them since I don't use iTunes, but I'm sure you won't have a problem.
Regarding your other debate - if it were me, I'd go for more storage on one device than have to carry around two. The interface probably won't be quite as nice, but for the amount of time you spend transferring songs compared to the amount of time you spend listening to them, it's probably not going to be a huge issue. (Incidentally, the usual warnings about buying memory cards of eBay apply, especially given that you can get them for £15 or so on Amazon, but that's your choice.) |

I've got a Desire with all my music on it.
Personally, I just drag and drop, but something like Mediamonkey can be useful for syncing audio on devices. |

I've got a HTC desire with a 16gb SD card and an ipod touch 8gb.... I'd go for a new ipod touch mate.... then you got best of both worlds what I wouldn't do is buy a memory card off eBay... my SD card cost me £35 off the HTC website but money well spent as I know it isn't fake or faulty...
also putting music/files on the SD card via the desire is sooo easy its a case of drag and drop... much easier than itunes |

I have both desire and 8gb i pod touch and also have all my music on a 16gb memory card on my desire, it is very easy putting your music on desire desire.
Agree with everyone else, it is risky buying memory cards of of ebay. |

Thanks for the advice people, think I'll go with a memory card. I'll go with Amazon seeing it's a fiver cheaper and the dodgy reviews of people on here.
