Given the state of my body, I wouldn't be keen myself. Hells teeth, why doesn't this woman with the rye bread problem just write it down? |

This hotel must know they're not going to get anyone booking in after this - all they're showing is how terrible a hotel it is. And how did they get permission to put cameras in guests' rooms??

Fried bread...
I'm half thinking this is a set-up. It's too surreal.

As long as the rooms are clean and there's hot water, TV, phone works etc, I'm happy. Then again I don't ask for Rye bread ![]() The Hotel Inspector is back this week, no doubt you'll see some stuff really worth complaining about. |

The clip they showed at the beginning of someone finding someone else using the shower in their room? The fact that hardly any of the staff seem to understand a word of English? (not being judgmental - they have actually deicated a lot of screentime so far to showing staff being barely able to understand a word that's said to them)

Within 10 miutes it shows that some hotels haven't moved out of the late 70's. How can you expect a good standard of accommodation when the manager lives in a s*** heap. Service looks likes its dreadful primarily down to willing but hapless workers from East Europe who don't get much support and try thier best without having a clue whats going on.
EWverything on this programme is what when I studied hotel mgmt 20 years ago was wrong with the industry. |

Sorry but shouldn't the absolute minimum requirement for any job where you actually have to communicate with anyone, be that you speak the language to a standard where you can do just that?
