Home and Away and Neighbours UK Screening Pattern
Just now, Five show both shows five days a week but with Summer breaks due to Australia having a Christmas break. Since it would be possible to cut the episodes per week to four keep the shows running all year round, would you prefer this? Do you think this would work out better for Five?

Don't forget that they are 3-4 months ahead of us, so they sometimes show 1 hour show in Australia.

I think I would probably prefer 4 episodes and no breaks. I hate long christmas/summer breaks!

I think it would be better for Five to go four episodes a week. Surely they risk "losing" some viewers with the Summer break?

I'd rather we followed Australia, the end of season cliffhangers in H&A don't have the same effect when the next episode is on Monday.
It may mean a two month break over Christmas, but at least you'd be anticipating the return rather then forcing a weak cliffhanger out of the mock summer break Channel Five take |

Suppose it would be perfectly possible to follow Australia now, given that the episodes are sent online rather than on tape.
