Looked like she was going to drop him, must have been extremely uncomfortable for him.

Its ridiculous to think the authorities would have let her have the baby back so soon, without major counseling, she obviously a nutter still, so is Alfie.

You're so right, they should have left it with oh-so-stable Ronnie! At least that baby might see a bit of fresh air now.

Why? It's their baby. If was Kat and Alfie, I would have screamed til they let me take my baby home.

I thought the awkward holding of Tommy was deliberate. It summed up the whole weirdness of the situation Kat now found herself in, and how while we might think mother's instinct is to hold the baby protectively, it showed how the whole idea of Tommy being back from the dead is still bizarre to Kat. We will probably see her struggle with this in the coming days/weeks.

Well said I thought it was deliberate too because asided from occassionally holding freddie and looking after donna (trevors girlfriends) baby once kat's not supposed to have really had any experience of holding a baby. It tied into what she was saying to alfie about she didn't know what to do with a baby and he was saying you just cuddle. I think they're going to make her seem quite clumsy and awkward with him at first.

Jessie's got a child so I'm sure it's not just that she can't hold a baby lol, they would have re-shot the scene if it wasn't supposed to be like it.
