Hi,

Looking for a TV tuner for a laptop (so USB is deal) that would work with in the US (currently based in the UK). I assume I'll need a ATSC specific device, such as this:

Any way to get a (cheaper) DVB-T model that'll work over in the US?

Presumably you're going to the States...... so why not just buy something when you're over there? Or is that too simple a solution??

Ideally I'd want to get it before then (it's for my girlfriend who is living in the US for a few months).

Why not have a quick look on a US computer site such as Newegg to see what they have/sell.

From that you should be able to see if you can get it here or whether you will have to wait until your gf or yourself get to the states.

If you do have to wait, It's likely to be cheaper stateside .

ditto.

Seems the obvious and simpler solution.
