I would say "no thanks", we jolly well do not need a pwincess!! Or are we associating Shells personality/ alleged Scottishness with our usual weather? ie, wet?

Nothing to do with more or less Scottish but who do people respect more overall and shows a good face to Scotland.

It's interesting that some people on this forum have been quite vehement about acceptance when it comes to Nadia - "accept her for who she is", yet feel that its perfectly ok to make generalised comments about hms nationalities.

Incidentally, are Helen (BB2) and Lisa (BB4) the only Welsh hms?

As the wining Englishman, I think Dan has represented England well with wet Stu a close second.

I wouldn't necessarily vote for any of them because they were Scottish - Fed being an annoying little weegie in his own right kinda disagrees with my post up there... I think most Scots here weren't saying they should - they were simply responding to the whole 'who makes your country look better' thing.

I think most Scots will probably agree that we have our fair share of idiots like any other part of the world... and Jason has probably taken as much of a beating in our own national press as anywhere else.

I live a few miles away from some of the most beautiful buildings and scenery on the planet, so that gives me a bit of pride in where I'm from - it doesn't mean I'm short-sighted enough to think that everything about Scotland is the dogs b0llocks.

I presume you're a grown up so you're right - you dont need permission from me or anybody on your opinion. I was simply trying to keep this thread in the high standard it started out.

Shell is the most un-Scottish person ever? Firstly she doesn't have a massive chip on her shoulder, secondly she has a beautifully clear and perfectly understandable English accent and thirdly no ginger hair!

I lived in Hong Kong for eight years, does that make me Chinese? Of course not!

Hmmmmmmm, don't respect any of them especially - they're just a bunch of people on a TV show. Takes more than that to get real respect, let alone be some kind of representative of Scotland!

BUT, if I were really pushed, I would pick Dan (yeah, he's from Hull, I know) - he's a handsome, witty son of a gun, especially in a uniform!! Or maybe Jason?? He's an example of Scots down to earth honesty, after all.

To be honest. Barry Ferguson, as national team captiain, is the best representitive of the Scottish people right now.

Wider picture:

Sada from BB1 was also allegedly Scottish
No Scots in BB2
Lynne and Sandy in BB3
Federico and Cameron in BB4
Shell and Jason in BB5

Hmm, perhaps Sandy for his wonderful scathing grumpiness. Lynne would have probably been OK if she'd stayed (hadn't got pissed and abused the poster boy)

I forgot about Sandy. The guy is a legend in my eyes. Didn't play by the BB rules, slagged off Johnny, climbed the walls and pissed in a bin. Then disappears back into obscurity. Top fella, sort of.

God I'd forgotten that one. Where do all these Anglo-Scots come from?

What do they say - "If a cat has its kittens in an oven, you don't call them scones".

Lynne was also a legend - be extremely quiet and watchful, then get mind-blowingly pished and get into an argument. Hey, Scottish down to a T!!

Hmm. St. Andrews is now an American University, Edinburgh is the new English Uni, so partly fitting.

How about Bearsden and Milngavie???!!!
