Her late 90s/early 00s stuff was the best, I think "Chocolate" showed signs shes heading toward the Madonna kind of stage where shes past her best. You could possibly even tell by the dress sense, the slower nature of the song, the ballet dancers on her head?! However, anything she releases will be successful because shes that popular..
I think she'd need to release an upbeat "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" or "Spinning Around"-style song to get close to her peak levels again. |
