sound skipping

Hi all, has anyone else had or found a cause for sound skipping a word or two, sometimes does not happen for a week then can happen several tmes an hour, I have sky hd connected to samsung ue40c6000 by latest hd lead,I had 2 other tvs that did this but they were 3d and both suffered also from picture blinking. if I rewind the sound is there. thanks. chris

Either you're losing the satellite signal - but that's unlikely as you have sound after rewinding and playing catchup...

...or you've got the Sky box on catchup just fractionally after the live transmission. The buffer won't have time to record and replay. Try pressing stop to play in real time.

What type Sky+HD box do you have?

I had this same problem with a Samsung PS50C680 and Amstrad 780 box ...... recently I upgraded to an Amstrad 890 and have had no problems since.

it is an amstrad 780,and worked fine with a panasonic plasma and my old samsung lcd its only done this since changeing to led I was wondering if it was a compatability problem as I had one years ago with the old amstrad sky plus box and samsung tv and found out about that problem through this forum, thats why I wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.chris.

Yes, also have the same issue on live tv as well as recorded.

Amstrad 890 i think (got sky hd about 6 months ago).

A reboot of my box fixes the issue for a few weeks.

Using a philips led ... Dont do very much watching of other sources but never had the issue on dvd or games console.
