Yorkshire Cameras: A Fraudulent Company - Do not use

My brother had been searching around for a Panasonic TZ10 and came across a website called Yorkshire Cameras, the camera was priced at £149.
Luckily he couldn't add it to the basket and so emailed them using the address provided. While he was waiting for the reply he did some digging and found that the physical address they are registered to is called Martins Camera Shop. Went to their website and found a message that says
Please Note: Martin's Camera Shop has nothing whatsoever to do with a company calling itself "Yorkshire Cameras" who are claiming to be a part of our company
My brother asked if I would post it here as this is a popular website and it is likely to be seen many others and picked up by internet searches to stop others from being sucked in.

Seems someone has cloned his site for nepharious purposes.
{BTW Barwick is semi-famous because the theme tune to The Archers is called "Barwick Green". It was written by Yorkshire composer Arthur Wood in 1924, as a "maypole dance" in his suite My Native Heath. The other items in this suite are "Ilkley Tarn", "Bolton Abbey" and "Knaresborough Status".}

Looks like my brother had a lucky escape. Looking at the website it is very convincing.
Must be a nightmare for the genuine company.
I paid top whack for my TZ10 (£250) as I bought just a matter of weeks before Panasonic gave a £50 cashback on it......and that was last year. The price then went back up and a quick Google shows the current lowest price being £190.
If it sounds too good to be true.......then it usually is!
Not a bad price for that if it was legit, which it sounds like it's not!
I bought my DSLR camera on eBay, but if you do buy stuff from websites always check on Google for possible scam sites.
Ideally we should be able to use paypal for all online payments, then such scams would not be possible because you wouldn't be giving out your credit card details, and paypal always gives you a refund if your goods never arrive.
I've reported the website to consumerdirect.gov.uk
They have.

Strange thing is if they weren't as cheap as they are, I'd wouldn't have been suspicious and probably would have ordered.
