firework ban coming into effect

As of tomorrow, it will be illegal to set off fireworks after 11pm at night. Looks like Endemol timed that nicely. One week later and they would not be able to have the fireworks at the final.

The final finishes at 11:10pm tonight though, so next year prahaps theyll just do 1 long show finishing at 10:50 or something instead of the 2 seperate shows we have now.

Yeah they can easily change the time. But wouldn't it be funny if the ban came into effect today and they didn't know about it

hee hee, i like your thinking. Actually in not partiqually fond of the fireworks anyway, you can never hear whats going on. Blumming heck i sound like my nan.

I love fireworks, especially the big flower like ones that expand. I am not keen on the noises though.

I think youa re going to be allowed to apply for a licence for special occassions. I think they should ban them altogether (bah, humbug )

Yes I think they should be banned and those who want to have a display get a special license from the local council. Too many kids have access to these things. I remember last year kids were up the top of the road, they were throwing fireworks into the road in the hope that a car would come round the corner and drive over it as it went off. Very dangerous and they don't care.
