Hi everyone - always get great advice on here so here goes:

I'm looking to get a new widescreen for my room and the Easter deals are drawing me in. One thing i was hoping for was the ability to either stream from my pc on to the tele, and/or access bbc i player/facebook etc from the tele. Trying to get the right combination i've seen that many blu ray players now have this option which gives me greater flexibility when choosing a tele.

I've seen a bundle which gives you a 42" lg led tv with a blu ray player and theatre kit. Looking into it, i dont think the player is wi-fi enabled (although the tv has netcast which gives youtube, etc). It's such a good price I'm contemplating snapping it up and buying a separate wifi enabled blu ray player at a later date. Is this feasible? Bundle is below.

Any advice greatly appreciated!!!!!!

You could but you would end up with two Blu-Ray players. The "player" in that bundle is actually a combo unit. It has the player and the surround sound amp integrated into one box.

So you would have to keep that otherwise the speakers won't be making any noise. But it does appear to have a digital audio input so you should be able to add a second Blu-Ray player to it and connect an audio feed from it to get sound from the speakers.

Though maybe it would be better to get just an internet streaming device rather than duplicate the Blu-Ray functions?

Hi - many thanks for the speedy response. I think having 2 blu ray players is definitely not ideal. I had originally planned on getting the tv alone from curry's, which have a good deal on, but was drawn in by the bundle. You mention a streaming device, do you have an example at all?

Thanks

Think you are going to have to wait till someone with more knowledge of such products passes by

I've not used anything like that and probably never will so haven't really looked too closely at what's out there.
