After six series the show has lot its ability to surprise or be that different when it comes to tasks. It would be cool to see this year's apprentices head off to America for a challenge, somewhere like New York. Last series they went to Germany and in an earlier series they went to North Africa.
And then there was France.

Perhaps they should send them to Canada and see if any of the self proclaimed 'world's greatest salesman - EVAR' could really sell snow to Eskimos.

There was one task set on a cruise ship. That was a bit different.

How about a task set on a desert island. First apprentice to escape, avoid the sharks in the sea and reach another country wins the task and gets immunity from firing that week.

Yes - never been repeated, I suppose it was a bit pricey with flights for all to Turkey as well. Probably the longest task too in actual time I'd imagine.

Perhaps the 'prentices could be sent on a humanitarian mission to Libya or file a news report from a rebel town in Syria. See how big their 'balls of steel' are then

Yeah, good point. Perhaps they could sell seats on refugee boats to Libyans or set up a baby milk franchise in Tripoli?

New preview for tonight's episode:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00gv9fn

It shows them brainstorming ideas for the task, and obviously means that
Spoiler
is one of the PMs.

I know i've said this on other threads but i'll say it here as well,, as the prize has changed, maybe the winning team of the tasks should be changed, as not to be based soley on costs/profit as sometimes the team that's lost has been the better run team, & there's more to being an Apprentice than costs/profit

What I wrote was copied from the above. I dont think that is called a spoiler once its in a national newspaper. And its possible the girls team did worse.

Actually, it is. Not everyone reads the same national newspaper as you. (But I think spoilers are OK if they are in spoiler tags, so that one was fine with me. Just clarifying for in future.)

Seems the blokes App in Task 2 was a freebee anyway, with less than 50 downloads:
http://www.pocket-lint.com/news/3599...ackberry-nokia

http://techcrunch.com/2010/10/01/sla...ave-potential/

All the press releases seem to pin this task down to 1st October 2010 too!

Because when I read it there was no spoiler tag in place

Don't comment unless you know the full facts is a lesson waiting to be learned.

The FM kindly revisited their post to ensure spoiling it for no one else.

And how was I supposed to know the original spoiler had been edited????

When I read it it was spoilered as indeed it is in your quote!

Usually a quoted but subsequently edited post stays unedited in the quote - hence thinking you clicked on a spoiler!!

You love the question mark don't you ?

All I was merely saying is, don't jump in and have a pop when you are not fully aware of the facts.

There was no spoiler tag in place yesterday morning and I was able to read which group lost the task before even seeing the programme.

I have no idea why people find pleasure in spoiling a programme for others.

At least this FM changed their post, unlike another one who is now inactive.
