Does Your Mother Know. Never liked it.

Do agree that Dancing Queen's overplayed.

I'm a big Eurovision fan but I hate Waterloo.

It is NOT the best ABBA song at all, nor is it the best Eurovision song either, but so many people think otherwise!

definitely Thank You For The Music - it's such a crap song, they only released it as a single as an afterthought to promote a GH compilation.

Dancing Queen.

Never understood the universal love for that irritant of a song.

Mamma Mia doesn't annoy me as such, but it doesn't really do much of anything for me, especially as compared with their other supposedly greatest hits. It is a very good-sounding song for 1975, but it just doesn't 'click' with me on a personal sonic level I can't really put into words.

That i guess is a subjective view. Although objectively it did win the Eurovision all time contest in 2005, not that it necessarily makes it the best, as the best only exists in one's opinion. In terms of the Swedish winners i would rank it 3rd of the 4

But in answer to the question, I would also say Dancing Queen. I do not like it so much. Some of the album tracks from the first two albums also do not agree with me.

Waterloo wasn't even the best song from Eurovision 1974! Runner up Italy was much better!

I agree. I love Abba but I hate "Ring Ring". I think it's just awful.

I really can't understand why it was re-released in the UK rather than "Honey Honey" which had hit written all over it after "Waterloo". It had already flopped once upon release. And then to give "Honey Honey" away to another group who then had a Top 10 UK hit with it beggars belief.

no its not the best abba nor eurovision song, but it did portray a fairytale ...an unknown group launched its career by winning a song contest, not the best, but still good.

Peronally, pretty much all of them.

you surprise me, benny and bjorn are recognised as two of the greatest ever pop music composers so whilst they did write some very tiresome tracks (dancing queen, mama mia, fernando, thank you for the music, super trouper) they did create some utter classic tracks (the eagle, move on, the name of the game), id have thought that even 'non fans' could relate to something they did...

All of them. Never got the appeal with Abba.

They were naff in the 70's and this whole nostalgia thing seems to be viewing them through rose tinted specs.
