panasonic th-42pe30 plasma tv red button problems

when I watch a bbc channel and the red button icon appears on the screen either the teletext comes on or the tv reboots itself This only happens when watching a bbc channel I have emailed the bbc but they have told me to speak to panasonic I have factory reset the tv and rescanned the tunner,still the same

Have you spoken to Panasonic then?

I believe this is indeed a problem caused by a recent change in broadcast parameters rather than a download problem. Some other makes have been affected that use Beko chassis such as Bush and Grundig,although in these cases the sets are virtually unusable. I suggest you contact Aquiva who run the u/k transmitters incase they are not aware of this problem with certain Panasonic's.
