For me - no question, Suleman Mirza. Still gives me goosebumps watching the original audition. I especially loved the twist and wonder if they're still doing their act today? With such a great tribute act - they'd surely be even more popular.

Closely followed by Escala.
2008 was a great year!

Signature deserved to win more than George Sampson that year imo. Agree about Escala too, they were very good.

Connie Talbot.

She should have won instead of Potts.

Loved Tina and Chandi...hardly surprising as I'm a dog addict. Looking after 6 of them today, only 2 are my own lol!

Also, for the fun factor, I liked Fabia Cerra, DJ Talent and Sean Sheehan

Loving the dog acts this year too! Although Buddy can't really sing like his owner, he was genuinely getting involved, and Donelda's dogs were awesome!

Probably Diversity. Series 3, when dance troupes weren't boring, these guys and Flawless absolutely lit the place up. I thought Flawless started off better, but these guys improved considerably in the live shows whilst Flawless dropped in quality. The imagination and creativity from Diversity was brilliant.

Also loved the Bar Wizards. Favourite act from Series 1 by a country mile.

Diversity, by a mile. The only act whose success I've bothered to follow since the show.

Completely agree. I remember thinking Diversity were really overrated on here at the auditions, and much preferred Flawless, but at the semi-finals they were level-pegging, and for the final performance I thought Diversity were miles ahead.

If you compare their audition to their most recent TV performance, you can see just how massive their improvement is. They're so much more in sync with each other, which is where Flawless used to have the upper-hand.

What's really lovely as well is that the fame doesn't seem to have affected them whatsoever.

Signature gets my vote.

Hollie Steele. Not a day goes by when her beautiful voice and heartfelt performances found on her CD do not get an airing in this household at full volume. You can feel the raw emotion in every note.

Escala or Diversity for me. I wasnt particularly interested in classical music or street dance, but both of them really captured my attention.
