I/ we always have our Sunday roasts at lunch time, but loads on here seem to have theirs later on .. I have mine lunch time so i can digest it and i don't feel ''full and bloaty'' at night , then a light snack later on lol..What do you prefer ?

I prefer it c 7.30-8ish so that I don't feel full and lethargic in the daytime. It's probably healthier to eat it earlier, though! More time to digest.

I always eat my main meal of the day at dinnertime (ie midday or one-ish!).............

I only ever eat a roast dinner on Christmas Day. Most people I know have them as an early evening meal though.

Always have our main meal about 5pm, hang over from the days when we were working.

When I lived at home it was always an evening meal except on Christmas day but now I live with my fiancees family and they serve it about 1pm. I prefer it in the evening as it leaves me sluggish all day otherwise. My great aunt used to eat her sunday roast at 10.30 am

we have ours about 6.30pm, as it's a big meal we just feel more ready for it.

Me too, one of the reasons is that I feel awful if I'm hungry and a sandwich etc does nothing for me. Plenty of time to digest and then I have a sandwich or something around 4 ish.

We always eat our main meal around 5.30 - 6.00pm, and Sunday is just the same. Wouldn't feel like eating it any earlier, and it wouldn't be ready either.

I tend to have my main meals in the early evenings on a weekend. I cook breakfast and if I cooked lunch as well I'd get nothing done in the mornings.
