hi guys need some help with a Technika T835, it was fine until i did a retune no when it turns on i shoes LOAD on the screen then 0000, then it restarts and does this a few times until it just stops on the green led with 0 on the display, nothing on the screen of the tv,

any ideas ?

LOAD then 0000 is the normal sequence on the front panel when connecting the mains power. Is there nothing on the screen at all? After 0000, you'll normally get the initialising disk message.

All I can suggest is to try leaving it unplugged for 10 minutes or so before plugging it in again and see if that kicks it back into life. If not, I'd try disconnecting the HDD data and power cables (with the box disconnected from the mains, obviously) to see if the box will boot up without the HDD. My initial suspicion being that perhaps the HDD is faulty.

Can I also ask which transmitter you are receiving your signal from? Seems somebody else in your area has had the exact same fault occur - maybe just a coincidence.

1. When did you purchase your T835?
2. Could you let me know the serial number that is on the box? (feel free to send this via PM if you don't want to post it publically)
3. Do you remember which software version the box was running? (the latest was v3.4)
4. Is there anything specific/different that you did to cause the failure, or was it a simple auto scan?
5. Did you turn the power off/on before the failure?
