I have The Polar Express on Bluray which is 2D and 3D , the 3D uses cardboard glasses. I am purchasing a 3D tv this week , will it work with the glasses supplied with the tv ??

The Bluray you have is the old anaglyph system - and its rubbish.

Not sure if Polar Express has been re-released with the new 3D system which would be much better.

You'll still be able to watch it in 3D but you won't need the glasses that come with the tv , you will still use the cardboard ones and it won't look anywhere near as good as the new system

I've done a search and although there are plenty of Blurays titles that use the new system Polar Express is not one of them .....not yet anyway.
I'm sure it will appear sooner or later

Yea colored glasses = fake 3d...rubbish. The stupid studios shouldn't have polluted the market with those...it sullies the 3d brand after all.
