Morning all Had a really busy day yesterday with family over and making dinner. I see in my absence that we've moved to House No.27.

Like the rest of you I'm really happy to see Matt's latest tweet He sounds so excited about the way the album is going. I can't wait to hear any little snippets of info we can find out over the coming weeks/months.

In answer to the question about Cheryl, by the sounds of it she's all but got the US X Factor job. It looks like we'll have at least two new judges this year with Simon taking a part-time role in some form. It will be very interesting who replaces them.

Do you think we might get a Summer Taster single?

I would really love it if there was but think we will have to wait until October

I feel it's highly unlikely, especially as 1D and Cher have album releases soon. I imagine they will get the summer single spots.

Seems like all the news outlets are saying it's a done deal - Simon gio his way, seems like Cheryl is one of his projects.


If they have any sense they will and if all is going well right now, they could have a summer single pin-pointed by June for a late July release and then 2nd single for October prior to album. Well if I was managing things that's how I would organise it.

I agree if they have any sense they will do so its almost a common sense way of showing your wares so to speak. Oh and the second in October is a great idea QM.

Morning all Interesting little disc re album, songwriting, etc...

As long as he is happy in that there studio and pleased with how the work is progressing its all good for me....I trust his judgement.

Little single release would be rather nice this summer...not beyond the realms of possibility is it if you think about it and it would make sense.

Voice wise...umm...like many on here I listen to a wide variety of music, enjoy lots of diff types but I have to admit, there is just something about his voice that turns me into a complete pile of mush at times.........you know what I mean chaps, I'm sure you do.

I would be less pleased with this tweet if Matt was one of life's bullsh**tters - but he isn't - he says it as it is. He's too honest for his own good at times. And though I am quite sure he only tweeted due to a kick from Ali - if he felt anything less than happy about the album, he either would have tweeted something banal in the mode of the "Happy Easter" tweet or would revert back to those useless information ones. If he says it's amazing then he really believes it is - and I trust his judgement (at least musically!).

So one happy bunny here.

Is American Idol still on or is that done now? With that, X Factor and the Voice it would all be a bit much! Personally not too bothered about the loss of Cheryl but it does feel like Simon is completely turning his back on the UK version. I just hope Dannii is still there.
