I must say after watching that clip that Simon added very little to the show and he is no loss........while the acts so far this year are dissapointing, I think the new judges are better

BGT this year has a happier tone.

Goodbye sarcastic Simon I don't miss you
2011 is good

I certainly miss Simon Cowell. Britain's Got Talent has been dreadful since Simon left.

Simon's straight talking. However, he tends to sometimes go with the audience who only react emotionally, rather than rationally. An old person with a dodgy and shaky voice isn't good for business.

Well I think it's dullsville without him and all the good acts have gone too. I only watch itv2 now with steven bec he's funny and you get more of micheal mac on there, but the acts on the main show, no siree.

I really missed him last week, but that's probably because I was so irritated by the Hoff. With Louis there, Simon didn't even cross my mind - something I never thought I'd ever say.

after the news of danni leaving as well tonight and tulisa on and gary on and louie not confirmed yet x factor may be equally as dull as BGT this year (still love michael mac though)

I haven't really watched it this year. Michael Macintyre's hyena voice irritates me too much. I think maybe Simon contributed more than I realised to the show, much as it pains me to admit it.

I haven't missed Simon on the show so far. I thought it would send it down hill a bit, but it hasn't.

I must admit I find it quite insulting when these people suddenly jump ship from the country that made their name and dash off to America.

If it wasn't for Pop Idol, Simon Cowell wouldn't be anyone famous. It's all down to the UK and he's abandoning it.

Pop Idol was 10 years ago! He spent 7 seasons doing XF and American Idol at the same time, plus BGT, before deciding it was now or never to launch XFUSA. Hardly 'jumping ship' all of a sudden.
