T-mobile 30 day sim only

I signed up to a 30 day sim only rolling contract with T-mobile 6 months ago. At the time i was told i could upgrade after 6 months as long as i have a perfect paymeny history. All of my payments have gone through on time via direct debit. I phone up today to ask about a upgrade (as my 6th payment had gone through) only to be told i could have to wait 12 months now. WTF Orange only make you wait 3 months as do 3. Anyway has anyone else had a 30 day sim only contract with T-mobile and was you allowed to upgrade after 6 months. Or can someone from T-mobile clear this up for me.

This information can only be given as a guide and you should have been made aware of that from the start. Basically T-Mobile need to make sure that the results on your credit file meet the grade before offering you any form of credit. To have been accepted onto a Sim Only plan initially indicates that you must just have hit the benchmark. I'd maybe take a look at your credit file, that usually gives some good ideas as to your credit worthiness.

Ring them back and give a months notice to quit, they will soon change their tune.

People think this but sadly this won't make a difference!

The guy in the t-mobile shop today said cancel the sim contract and then go for a full contract oddly (i popped in the shop to see if any decent phones were going cheaply on payg.). I declined as i wasn't prepared to take the risk of being declined in my mind now at least whilst i have this 30 day sim only contract i'm still building up a credit history with T-mobile which will increase my chance of a full contract. Whereas if i'd cancelled then i'd be back at square one i just wish they'd told me about the 12 month upgrade thing originally as then i could of taken a 12 month sim only contract and got more for my money.

Unless you’re prepared to leave (threats to leave are no good unless you mean them) then sorry there no hope for you, you are just going to have to shut up and put up.
