Problem with my BlackBerry Curve
TheBaronSpell
26-04-2011
Since Monday morning I've been unable to use Facebook, BBM or MSN on my BlackBerry Curve for no apparent reason known to me. However I can still use Twitter or the internet if I click onto the O2 homepage.

Everytime I try to log onto facebook it says. "We cannot reach the Facebook server at this time. Please try again later (100)" which doesn't mean anything to me because I'm no techincal expert.

MSN keeps saying "Connection Error (65): Problem recieving date from the server."

I've tried taking the sim out and back in again but it still does nothing. Does anybody know the problem with my phone. It's good as new seeing as I brought it two months ago.

It sounds like a problem with blackberry data if it is affecting facebook bbm and msn.

Have you tried using wifi or phone network - do both fail, or just one of them?
Have you tried it in more than one location? - eg it could just be your local area/phone mast.

At the top of the screen, what does the mobile network indicate? - is it GSM (which means calls/texts only), gprs or edge (means no data available), GPRS/EDGE (data available), 3g (3G network, but no data) or 3G (3G data available - should also show the BlackBerry logo next to it).

If you're connected by wifi, you should see the BlackBerry logo next to the wifi logo if you have blackberry data working.

What mobile network are you on?
