I didn't see many of them when they first went out, but it really is weird looking back at his first episodes now, before it was clear where his story was heading.

I do love the old episodes. And shippiness aside, I love the first two eps where Brendan meets Ste. It sets up the relationship well - Ste says too much and gets a punch in the face.

Is Brendan still married or not? Chez referred to Eileen as his soon to be ex-wife when Macca turned up but we haven't heard anything since then.

And I think that there is an upcoming quickie wedding but its only speculation that its Brendan and Ste. I don't think its likely myself!

I think he will stay with him and we might start seeing the dark stuff Emmett spoke about - perhaps because Ste stays with Noel out of needing someone rather than anything else. Which is why I guess he didn't tell Noel the truth (that he'd "chosen" Brendan) because after being beaten up he knew he could go back to Noel and have affection and that in turn might stop him from being tempted back to Brendan (hmm...).

Oh he might not be then I'm not sure it's not been mentioned lately that she's his ex-wife or anything.
