yeah i read this the other day...3 nominations for Doctor Who is an amazing result!

I'd love to see Vincent win, personally, and I can see it being the one of the three that appeals most to the sensibility's of the Worldcon members...

Three is good, although since DW's return, there have only been two years in which it *hasn't* received three nominations (getting two in 2008 and 2009) and only one year in which it hasn't won it!

4 out of the 6 Nominations this year are DW related.

Quote:
“ BEST DRAMATIC PRESENTATION (SHORT FORM)
An Adventure in Space and Time written by Mark Gatiss, directed by Terry McDonough (BBC Television)
Doctor Who: “The Day of the Doctor” written by Steven Moffat, directed by Nick Hurran (BBC Television)
Doctor Who: “The Name of the Doctor” written by Steven Moffat, directed by Saul Metzstein (BBC Televison)
The Five(ish) Doctors Reboot written & directed by Peter Davison (BBC Television)
Game of Thrones: “The Rains of Castamere” written by David Benioff & D.B. Weiss, directed by David Nutter (HBO Entertainment in association with Bighead, Littlehead; Television 360; Startling Television and Generator Productions)
Orphan Black: “Variations under Domestication” written by Will Pascoe, directed by John Fawcett (Temple Street Productions; Space / BBC America)”

Probably will lose out to Game of Thrones though (as it did in 2013).

I would love to see An Adventure in Space and Time get the recognition it deserves.

Personally I think it stands up as a piece of original drama outside of any fan-pleasing elements more than the others

There don't seem to be any written rules about how the winnners are chosen though
