Billboard named Britney’s “Toxic” video the second best music video of the last decade behind Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” music video, which came in at number one…

“In 2004′s Joseph Kahn-directed “Toxic” video, Britney Spears proved that she comes in every flavor: futuristic stewardess, fiery “Alias”-esque agent, and brunette super-heroine. But the one role that stays constant through the dance-heavy clip: Sultry maneater.”

However, Britney did gnab the number one spot for the best music video of the 90′s with “Baby One More Time.”

Kicking off a fruitful career, the teenaged Britney won the fervent love of millions of fans with this instant pop classic set inside a high school and prominently featuring Ms. Spears dancing in her mini-skirted take on the school uniform. You loved it too: “Baby One More Time” took 40% of the vote for 1990s videos.

Congrats Brit, very well deserved!

It's "Blur" fom Circus! Single-worthy in my opinion!

Well done to Britney for getting the 90's video of the year award, especially since it was her debut video and pretty much her own idea and initiative! Also, while I think "Bad Romance" is a brilliant pop video, I feel "Toxic" is much better but BR is just fresher in peoples minds!

Unusual You! (best on Circus)

"if you like what your see, and your curious to see, let your mind roam free....can you pay attention please (yeah!)"

And congrats for Britney in both polls! BOMT, Scream and Vogue were stunning videos worthy of top spots in the 90s!

And Britneys Toxic was the best video of the last decade....personally i wouldnt say BR was THAT great!

Get Naked (I Got A Plan) - Best on Blackout in my opinion!

Babe pick a night to come out and play, If its alright, what do you say?

Does anyone have any cool ideas for an Inside Out music video? Like when you listen to it do you think of a great scenario or twist or anything?

I am hoping the 'Inside Out' video is a little darker, and Britney is so good at concepts I would love to see a story involved!

As for the quote, it bothered me for ages cause I knew I recognised it, then realised it was 3 after rifling through the videos in my head.

Here is the new quote:

"I am better off without you, stronger than ever and I"

It is true get naked (i got a plan) is the most seductively dark and experimental on Blackout i do think it is one of her best songs too! I love that....that and Toy Soldier CLICKED when i heard the album the first time....and gimme more obviously.

I wished the original video was out there. I have a new found love for the album again! It is like the autobiography for her life then. I hope that the album gets re-reviewed in the future as it is by far the only album as confessional a 25 year old Pop Icon has ever achieved! Also so very dark and twisted!

also if Inside Out is the next release then i would love something completely out there. Like Bjorks All Is FUll Of Love robotics....i always think of sci-fi robotics with that song (may be the breakdown bits??)

But i would love for Criminal to be released if it is the final release from the album! It will be a massive surprise for people also

I know what it is, but I don't think I should answer because I googled it to find the answer!

"Blackout" really is a perfect pop album, and I agree with Josh in that I hope its still remembered in years to come! It has played a huge role in shaping pop/ dance-pop today! Everyone hailed Gaga as invigorating pop music but Britney was doing it a year before her, it just fell under the radar (Pardon the Pun ) in the chaos of her life!

Did anyone see the campaign that was happening in America? They were organising a mass download of "Blackout" for the week of July 26th until August 2nd to try and get it to number one... I've heard nothing of it climbing the charts but it'll be interesting to see if it re-enters the Billboard 200 at a decent peak!

The UK seem to have given up with Britney. Back in her hey day, the UK was one of her biggest market and her singles used to do slightly better here then they did in the US

Maybe Britney has given up on the UK.

Has there actually been any promotion here recently? Britney could have done a radio tour, TV interviews etc. Just because she is a megastar it doesn't mean she is above this. It just annoys me that she hasn't bothered with the UK.

In a world where its now all about Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna, Britney has done well to be the only one left standing of the original trio of pop princesses (Britney, Christina, Jessica) to have a consistent career.
