Unfortunately, the majority of this Forum is in the UK and Ireland, so it means she's ''flopping''.

I think she can easily reach 1.5m WW at the rate it's going now, and with more singles and a Tour coming up she could sell solid in the US for a good while yet.

I know this will sound like an odd comparison, but do you think FF will sell the same amount as Madonna's Hard Candy in the US, UK and worldwide? I only compare the two as HC is Madonna's only studio album not to go at least gold or platinum in the UK and the US and whilst Britney's been around less time than Madonna, they are both considered older now by the 'younger' generations and therefore less popular and cool. And Hard Candy didn't do Madonna any harm in terms of her legacy, and I just don't want FF to become the Britney album that turns in to Christina's Bionic.

Apparentley it has already sold more than Bionic in about 4 weeks, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

I think this album is selling to her fanbase. I hope she can widen the scope of her sales again with her next. I know she can if she started acting like a proper Popstar again, did some Promo and got out of her straightjacket, sorry, ''conservatorship''.

Hard Candy sold something like 3m WW, did it not?

I thought it was 3 too, but turns out it was 3.8. I can probably see Femme Fatale maybe selling 3 million worldwide if the six single releases are true, and if she performs each one live once - just once! - on a TV show.

I completely agree. I think TTWE will start ramping up in sales WW because of the Remix - it still hasn't been released in places. I also think it'll give the album a kick into next week, which is good news.

I hope the announcement of the next single comes soon, and I think they're working on something. They've been unusually quiet, in the sense that ''Hey! Let's give them a few Remixes to keep them happy while we work!''

Plus, Britney must be working hard on the Tour now, people have said that she's very involved in the concept of this Tour. We all know gurl finds it hard to keep those lips moving in time to the Music!

I saw that Everytime reached #56 last Christmas. I thought it was very strange but then remembered Cher Lloyd singing it on X Factor.

I love Everytime. Beautiful song, my favourite Britney ballad, and probably the best representation of her talent to date.

Femme Fatale is probably Britney's most critically accalaimed album to date. In regards to commercial success I think it will continue to sell well across the US especially with the summer tour on its way, however internationally the album will sadly not become a big seller as Britney has basically done zero amount of promotion.
The music is high in quality its just not been released or marketed to the world audience which makes all the difference.

I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to watch some of it.

She was once linked to Prince William, wasn't she? Rumour, of course.

There were rumours around 2001 that he fancied her or wanted to ask her out or something.

Prince William said he fancied her, and the feeling was mutual. They met at a party once.

Imagine.
Princess Britney. (Or Princess William.)

I agree with umr3000 above. She's going to sell well in the US. She's averaging 40k-50k per week in the US for the last two weeks, it's the prediction this week too. The US is her playground at the moment, and she won't do as good internationally until she gets her lovely tushy into work!

According to the United World Chart and MediaTraffic, Femme Fatale sold 91k WW this week, bringing total sales WW to 790k.
Still selling solid in the US, could match that figure next week.

Do you have a link to the predictions for next week in the US? I like to look at them weekly, but i can't seem to find them this week for some reason...

Hits Daily Double do them, but I'm never sure on what day. I usually just read Tweets about it, and james-belfast updates on the Adele thread.

Do you know what position the 45k would get her next week?

That could be between 4-6 probably. Look at the new releases that week, as the major releases always do well in the first week.

According to BH FF will move up to 2nd in the charts next week (despite a predicted fall in sales)!

There probably isn't any major releases in that case. I hope it doesn't drop below 40k anyway. Anything under that shouldn't be at No.2, or else the Americans are really screwed.
