PS Talking of promo, Gaga performed Judas live on ellen today (yesterday?). Now this is a huge show and normally has a positive effect on sales. Last time I looked, Judas was 19 on US iTunes. Contrast that with Adele, a mere contestant sings RITD on AI (very poorly if I'm being honest) and Adele's original shoots up to #1. If I was Gaga's management i would be getting a little nervous.

Oh dear. Having watched that clip, by GaGa's high standards that was a poor lacklustre performance like something by a run of the mill 1990s pop act on CD:UK.

Hell, in the USA on iTunes BTW is 3 places above Judas, that tells you everything about what the US public think of the two songs.

I wouldn't expect a massive increase based on just this one performance, if when the video comes out premiered on AI and even that has no effect, then that would be a disappointment. But I think I'm speakin too soon, and people who are saying she's flopping/Judas is a failure/her management should be worried at this stage are only those who are desperate to see her fail.

I came on here to say the exact opposite.

Considering it was a small set, I thought it was a great performance.

I'm a MASSIVE Fame/Monster fan, huge, don't know how much I spent going to London to see the Monster Ball last Summer, absolutely adore Gaga, but after liking but not loving BTW, liking parts but hating others of the video and being vastly disappointed by Judas (great chorus, hellish hellish hellish verses) I thought that performance was great. The Verses sounded less harsh sung live, and her dancing is definitely up a notch from when she started.

She's always had great performances, big stages, big dramatics, it's what I love about her. But that was a simple performance, and she nailed it, one of the best dance routines I've seen her pull off, in time with the backing dancers and not exactly simple to do that jerky movement in time with others.

exactly, it was a small studio. if she does american idol i think the production will be much bigger. heard `judas` on the radio today while i was driving. it seems to sound better on the radio if that makes any sense.
