Is this TV good?

Using it to watch TV and play on Xbox 360 and connect PC to TV to play movies and is it 1080p? and is Plasma better than LCD/LED?

It's not 1080p, and I think with a screen that size, you'd be able to tell it's not.

Yes, it's 720p, and regarding which is better, that's an entirely different kettle of fish!

I personally prefer Plasmas, but I don't have the room for one. Others will say LCD screens are better.

Best way is to go to a shop and have a look at them to compare.

This model suffers badly from image retention. Do a channel scan and you can still see the tuning menu for some time after it's completed.Watch say channel 5 for a while, change channel and watch the "DOG" slowly fade over a period of minutes. The 42" version is nowhere near as badly affected

Changed several touchpads for random functions, usually switching itself on from standby .

Prefer plasma, but in this day and age, 1080p plasma is the way to go. The lower resolution ones are a thing of the past really....
