Oh, the irony. No Skype on Skypephone.

Also makes a bit of a joke of 3's "Free calls for life" tagline, which until recently they were using heavily to promote Skype. Funnily enough, those ads aren't on the website any more.

Called 3, they've offered me an 'early upgrade' (at a higher monthly charge), but there's now only a handful of phones they offer that can run Skype - and not all of them have it built in, you have to download it.

Funny thing is, my Skype stopped working yesterday, a bit of Googling shows that some stopped working as early as April 1, but I have a friend whose Skype is still working on his Skypephone at the mo.

Very annoying!
