Sim card registration failed

Received my Orange Blackberry Curve upgrade today - which I want my daughter to have. When I put the new sim card in to my Nokia 6700 slide I get a message 'sim card registration failed@. Can anyone help please.

You need to call orange to get them to activate the sim card. It's for security as it means that if someone was to take the phone before it was delivered they wouldn't be able to run up your bill.

Thank you so much. x

BlackBerry data plans aren't compatible with other handsets though, so you'll need to get your account moved back to a regular data plan and your daughter's account moved onto a BlackBerry plan (if she doesn't have a BlackBerry already).
