If it's the snake reading the poetry then she's going to make a fortune.

Just read about this in the paper. Clearly got through because she was 7. If it's a 20 year old bloke doing this, he's getting rejected and ridiculed without question.

I refuse to be wowed by such tripe. I think I'll leave the room when this comes on, as the flourish of compliments about her "bravery" might just make me lose what little faith I still have in the show.

Also read that, she was struggling to breath towards the end. Ant & Dec finally forced the judges to give their verdict.

Plus there’s a moment, not shown in this clip, where Michael has to check whether Olivia can breathe, because the snake decides to wrap itself a bit tighter around her head. In fact, it’s left to Ant and Dec to finally come on stage and rescue the little lady

Hopeless, but as usual because she's a child, the audience went with their 'aww' emotions. Same goes for the Judges as well.

I don't know why they were worried, the snake looked very relaxed and was draped round her shoulders. If she was uncomfortable it was because the snake was heavy. I liked her poem, and her snake, but I don't think she'll go any further.

That was all shown on the show. Typical of Heat rag to sound so melodramatic. MM asked her if she could breathe ok, but he wasn't particularly serious when he said it. Obviously the health & safety people behind the scenes would be concerned for her, and they would be urging Ant & Dec to move it along. If there had been any real danger to her, someone would have gotten on the stage to free her.

It's fairly impressive for a kid so young to be able to remember such a long poem, let alone do it with a large snake wrapped around her. I can see why the audience were on their feet, but it's not the sort of act you'd really want to see repeatedly.

Given the content of the poem I'm guessing no-one's told her that the Queen likes hunting then.

It was horrible. Allowing a young girl to have a snake wrapped around her. It could have been terribly dangerous. If it decided to compress her, she would not have the strength to prise it off. very irresponsible. It turned out okay, so I suppose no-one's that bothered.

I laughed at how Ant and Dec were morce concerned about the snake round her neck than her or her mother, I don't think she was struggling to breathe, I think that was more exaggeration from Heatworld.

The snake was clearly very tame and completely harmless. She wasn't scared at all and neither was the snake!

I would have put her through simply because the poem was lovely, she's an excellent role model and the poem made sense. Maybe it's because I'm an animal lover?

What would she do on the live shows? Read the same poem with a couple of tigers circling her?

I'm not an animal lover and I really enjoyed it. I thought she was extremely articulate. Unfortunately, it was a one time act. I wouldn't find it impressive a second time around.

The poem was also about being kind to animals, I bet that snake would have preferred to be somewhere else.
