I also wanted to say, one of the reasons why I now try not to get too wound up over some of the writing in individual episodes is because I am aware that it's important to savour the moment, as it were.

We all have our own way of viewing and reacting. But I choose to try to appreciate it all, even it's not perfect, because to me it's such a wonder that they created this amazing and beautiful couple and I intend to enjoy them every minute I get them on screen.

Also, I really do think a lot of people from here will remain friends and more and more of us are meeting in real life and will continue to do so this year. Chryedville has been something amazing, with a life of it's own!

Anyway, the future is the future and now is now! That's enough rambles from me.

I love BIB, I love the fact that we're not just an appreciation thread, that we've all become friends through this And it really shows when you do meet people from here! When I did there was no awkwardness or anything, really felt like we'd all been friends for ages

BIB- i was just saying to my friend yesterday how i'd only joined on friday and i already feel like you guys are really good friends of mine. there's no bitchiness, everybody is kind, and you were all so welcoming to me! much better welcome then what i get at school. some people think i'm stupid for adoring chryed, but in my opinion, they're stupid! :sleep:

I must have logged off just a few mins before the news broke so when I woke up in the morning and got the news through on a google alert, I literally screamed and started shaking and then rushed on here to catch up on all the pages that had been posted since about midnight!

hope we are all fine, despite the somewhat depressing thoughts about the inevitable end of Chryed on EE...

I felt I had to get my thoughts out there as well even though they are not that unique...

Most important to me are these two things:
- as a few of you already have said, that we have NO far-fetched, OOC storylines and that the characters are not destroyed! if this means that they leave a little bit sooner than later, then so be it.* not that I wont cry when it happens*
- They should have a happy ending of some sort and definitely leave together.

These two reasons are also why I admire the McDean s/l so much: it wasn't dragged out forever and destroying John Paul and Craig and they had a proper, well thought through ending on a very happy note. I'd very much like some sort of equivalent to the sunset ending for Chryed in whatever form suits them.

And: let's enjoy them while we can!

I actually discovered the news late. I had an early night Sunday night (of which the news broke, Monday morning after 12 at night). I was working all day Monday and when I got home, I had to get ready and go to my friends wedding reception. It was only when I returned at 1:00am Tuesday morning, I logged on and discovered the news. I was shaking and could barely write any coherent sentences.

Oh, it’s just occurred to me, we may be getting the proposal this month if the Daily Mirror was right about them already filming the scenes a week before.

Awww so true. I've only met one person so far, but I talk to people on here about things in much more depth than I do real life friends. I am so looking forward to meeting up with everyone next Jan. We've become great friends through this process, that is so nice, had forgetten that quote of Johnny's! Lovely.

I think one of the most unique things about the whole experience on here, is that you can't know, and most of us didn't know, in the beginning, the ages or backgrounds of people. I think this thread has made me a much more enlightened person, I am not a judgemental person anyway, but this thread has proved to me in a very powerful way that you truly shouldn't pre-judge someone from their age, background, religion, nationality or anything else. I think getting to know someone on here, and then finding out about them backwards, as it were, is a very fascinating thing.

There is a lot of negativity talked about online relationships and it is a scary and often bullying place, but it's nice we've been able to be the exception to the rule. All of the externals that go to make up formulating an opinion of a human being are removed on here, so they are not influencing anything.

Also, I think it is slowly revealed over time, that because of our attitudes to the storyline, we find we share the same values of tolerance and respecting differences and that is what makes the thread work - it's the nature of most Chryedians that causes the thread to work, the very nature of the type of people that become Chryed fans is one of the factors that has enabled the thread to keep going.

And I said I wouldn't ramble.
