They definitely won't be proposing on my birthday... or if they are I'll be having words with the producers!! My birthday's on a Saturday.. surely they wouldn't be cruel enough to have the proposal offscreen

Exactly. Millions of people are over weight but they are happy and have a good life. Heather is such a horrible stereotype and sends a bad message about fat people.

But yes fair play to the actress as she gets so much abuse across the board so its amazing she can do the job and just get on with it

Argh, shut up, raising my expectations even further. I haven’t read the spoilers since Monday night, so I’m a bit vague on what’s happening, but from what I remember, it sounds goood. Can't wait. Weekends are stupid when you're not at school or work and don't feel the benefit!

Right, I'm going to go read for a bit, being on the desktop knacks my back up something rotten. Be back later, hopefully to a new thread!

I wouldnt mind if Chryed had had no major storylines this year, but considering they have been involved with surrogacy, roof collapsing, Syed's career change and dare I mention him, the piper crap, I would have expected them to appear in more episodes than Mo whose main storyline was dying her hair pink on her birthday. I just dont understand it.
Surely things will change soon .... (but we keep on saying this )

The proposal will take place on a Saturday....we will hear about it on the Monday when Christian tells Alfie that he and Syed are engaged, Alfie will then go on to make a 5 minute speech about love and marriage, Silent Sy will sit there and nod in agreement...../low expectations

Sorry, I was away - beaten to it - but yes, pre-"Gotcha". Christian failed in his attempts during "Get you a glass" and 'insert whatever the line was' where he's whispering in his ear at the computer, but won with terrible Samaritan (who makes jokes about helplines?) line and putting a small child's cowboy hat on. Syed Masood. Always the mystery.

CCC in this), when, except for the lack of bed scene and the 'make yourself at home', they were treated pretty much equally. But now they can barely have a peck? It's so strange.”

All very odd. And I've just about forgiven them for a reunion embrace that looked like Christian was turning Syed into a tomato, just.

I too, it should be noted, miss the MQ - and even the uniforms. I don't know how, but a smelly kitchen filled with their in-laws where Syed had a hair net on and Christian loudly sniffed is in retrospect sweeter and sexier than personal training and massaging. You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone.

You could look at it like that...Or you could look at it as it is on your birthday, they just have an extra special chryed ep on a saturday, just for the proposal

oh wait...that's right...the producers don't like Chryed

You know they'll only have a few seconds of screentime every 5 minutes... enough to involve them in every paragraph but not enough to have anything happening

Expectations lowered yet? I'm looking forward to tomorrow way too much too... even my own 'expectation lowering' exercise didn't work for me

Afternoon all Just got back from a barbecue and had been lurking on my phone and saw the comments about that radio show. I agree that parents are doing their children a lot more harm than good shielding them from things that are 'unnatural' and ‘wrong’, they're consequently raising the next generation up to be bigots which is really sad; what will make it even more sad is if TV shows pander to the homophobic minority. It’s 2011, not 1911, times are changing, and human rights are improving, so raising children to see homosexuals as lower than them and something to be ashamed of is hugely detrimental to society. Just look at the gay teen suicide rates and it’s becoming clear that when basic human rights are moving forward, bigots are moving it back again.

Yup. When EE is good, it's great. When it's poor, it's rubbish . But I do think it's on a good note at the moment.

Ahhh, good luck. You'll be finished, and then my exam starts!

BIB- Haha, don't you do that already?
